This Day Trip was *reel* good.
A week ago today, I took a drive to visit Taylor who is spending the summer working in Avalon, NJ. I found myself stuck in a gaze upon arrival. The beachfront community packed with exquisite homes, beautiful beach cottages and countless cafes had me reminiscing about annual trips visiting Hampton Beach, NH with my family. Of course our adventures also landed us in Cape May and Wildwood, NJ last week.
⭐️As I have shared, I am on a journey to display my creative side. A big part of this journey and one of my biggest goals is to feel confident in pushing myself outside my comfort zone while learning new skills that can be applied to my career and personal life.
Aside from challenging myself to become comfortable on this CMS platform again, I also wanted to keep up with social media trends on @Cthe_good, my blog account, on Instagram. Right now, reels are taking users by storm. With the Instagram algorithm favoring reels over regular styled videos, engagement on these reels have skyrocketed. If you are unfamiliar, reels are short-form videos that music, effects and voiceovers can be added to, resulting in a quick, fun and easy-to- watch experience for the viewer. Reels give content creators on Instagram and Facebook a new and exciting way to interact with their audiences which is why I have been learning to create my own reels.
⭐️So, here’s to my first reel. And having fun while learning as I go!
